Job Title: Content Creator/Editor
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Social Media Manager
Location: Head Office
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce user-generated-style (UGC) content and other creative assets for various brand platforms including Maria.B Official, M Basics and related product lines and sub-categories.
- Edit and refine content (videos, photos, and reels) to align with brand aesthetics and messaging.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
- Ideate and contribute to campaign concepts, trending reels and seasonal content strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Work closely with the creative teams to ensure consistency in brand tone and visual storytelling.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains high-quality standards.
- Assist in planning and executing content shoots including mood boarding and shot ideation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media Studies, Creative Writing Or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in content creation, social media or digital marketing.
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms, algorithms and emerging trends.
- Proficiency in photo and video editing tools (e.g., Inshot, CapCut, Canva etc.).
- Excellent creative and storytelling skills with an eye for visual detail.
- Strong team player with effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
