Job Title: Content Creator/Editor

Reports To: Social Media Manager

Location: Head Office


Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and produce user-generated-style (UGC) content and other creative assets for various brand platforms including Maria.B Official, M Basics and related product lines and sub-categories.
  2. Edit and refine content (videos, photos, and reels) to align with brand aesthetics and messaging.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
  4. Ideate and contribute to campaign concepts, trending reels and seasonal content strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
  5. Work closely with the creative teams to ensure consistency in brand tone and visual storytelling.
  6. Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains high-quality standards.
  7. Assist in planning and executing content shoots including mood boarding and shot ideation.


Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media Studies, Creative Writing Or a related field
  2. 3+ years of professional experience in content creation, social media or digital marketing.
  3. Strong familiarity with social media platforms, algorithms and emerging trends.
  4. Proficiency in photo and video editing tools (e.g., Inshot, CapCut, Canva etc.).
  5. Excellent creative and storytelling skills with an eye for visual detail.
  6. Strong team player with effective communication and collaboration skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
