Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer specializing in Bridal and Day Wear to design, develop and execute collections that align with the brand’s aesthetic and market trends. The role involves conceptualizing designs, selecting fabrics, overseeing fittings and collaborating with production teams to deliver high-quality garments.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Create original design concepts for bridal wear and day wear collections
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors and embellishments relevant to target customers
- Develop sketches, mood boards and design specifications
- Select fabrics, trims, embroidery and color palettes
Product Execution
- Prepare detailed tech packs for sampling and production
- Coordinate with pattern makers, tailors and artisans
- Oversee fittings and make necessary design adjustments
- Ensure quality, fit and finish meet brand standards
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with merchandising, production and marketing teams
- Support styling for photoshoots, lookbooks and fashion shows
Required Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or related field
- Proven experience in bridal and/or women’s day wear design
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, construction and finishing
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Excellent sketching and visualization skills
